My Sephora Sale Picks

sephora sale picks

Hello lovelies!

sephora sale picks
Image from Sephora.com

Today 4/20-4/23 Sephora is having a 10% off sale for all Beauty Insiders and 15% off for VIBs! If you are not a beauty insider, it’s free to sign up! You can go here to become an insider.

I wanted to share with you my favorites from Sephora that are my tried and true products I have right in my makeup drawer. All of these listed I have used for a minimum of three weeks but most I have used for at least year or two.

This post contains affiliate links. To read my full disclosure click here.

MAKEUP

Urban Decay – Eyeshadow– I have the shade Foxy which is a cream matte color. This is a great shadow for those “no makeup makeup days” where you still want to look presentable but don’t want a full face. It brightens up my eye area and evens out my eyelid color. It’s also a good base for when you are doing a full eye look.

Make Up For Ever MAKE UP FOR EVER – Ultra HD Invisible Cover Foundation

Smashbox – Iconic Photo Finish Foundation Primer – I have really dry skin and this  primer is perfect! After cleansing, toning and moisturizing, I apply a thin layer of this primer before any foundation or concealer. It helps my makeup last longer and not crease.

CLINIQUE – True Bronze Pressed Powder Bronzer– I like this bronzer for everyday because it blends smoothly and has only the tiniest bit of shimmer so it looks more natural.

Benefit Cosmetics – BADgal Lash Mascara Mini- I like the mini version of this mascara for when I travel or for touch-ups in my purse.

Estée Lauder Estee Lauder – Sumptuous Bold Volume Lifting Mascara– Buildable mascara that gives major volume. A good everyday mascara.

Tarte – Lights, Camera, Flashes Statement Mascara– Does not clump and gives amazing volume and length. Great going-out lash look.

Tarte tarte – Amazonian Clay 12-Hour Full Coverage Foundation SPF 15– Long wearing and easy to blend.

Tarte tarte – Maracuja Creaseless Concealern – This is my all-time favorite concealer I just keep coming back to! If you have read past monthly favorites on New Momma Survival you know how much I adore this one! This product goes SUCH a long way. You just need the tiniest dot of product to cover both under-eyes. No creasing and serious coverage.

Benefit Cosmetics – Precisely, My Brow Pencil Ultra Fine Shape & Define– I love how fine this pencil is! You can draw natural hair-like strokes and have more control of where the product is going. There is a grip on the pencil, too, for extra control and has a spoolie brush on the other end. It lasts ALL day and is waterproof!

Lancôme – LES SOURCILS DEFINIS– This is my runner-up for favorite brow pencils. The formula stays all day and it gives a natural-looking brow.

SKINCARE

Estée Lauder Estee Lauder – Revitalizing Supreme Global Anti-Aging Creme– This cream smells SO good and is incredibly moisturizing. I like to wear this one at night as this does not have any SPF. I see a difference in the AM around my eye area and forehead (the two places I have minor signs of aging)

Origins – Cleanse & Smooth– I like this set for traveling because the bottles are just 1 oz each. It smells minty and helps freshen dull, dry skin.

Murad – Skin Perfecting Lotion– I have been using this one on just my chin area, which is blemish-prone. I have noticed fewer blemishes and a more even skin-tone.

Kate Somerville – ExfoliKate Intensive Exfoliating Treatment– I use this one once or twice a week to really get a deep clean. I really like the smell and the exfoliators are not too abrasive for my sensitive skin. A little product goes a long.

HAIR

Amika amika – Blockade Heat Defense Serum– one of my favorite heat protectants, this one doesn’t make your hair weighed down or greasy and smells divine.

Briogeo – Rosarco Milk Reparative Leave-In Conditioning Spray– I have mentioned this one before and I keep coming back to it! Most leave-in conditioners are just too heavy for my fine hair. This one is light and really helps smooth my dried ends.

Bumble And Bumble Bb. Pret-a-Powder Tres Invisible Nourishing Dry Shampoo– This is another one I have raved about before because it is just that good people. I have tried a lot of brands of dry shampoo and this one is still my favorite. I have dark roots and this one absorbs that white powder very quickly. If you accidentally spray a bit too much and you get that white, it is very easy to blend into your scalp! . It cuts that grease and does wonders for volume on clean hair, too.

Bumble and bumble – Surf Foam Spray Blow Dry– This part mousse part sea salt spray gives beachy texture and amazing volume to my fine hair. And it is Parabens Sulfates and Phthalates free!

What are your Sephora favorites? Anything you would recommend for me? Let me know in the comments below!

Have a beautiful  day !

I don’t use make up frequently, but I have heard my daughter and my niece talk about these brands and products. I am interested in the Amika amika – Blockade Heat Defense Serum. I believe it is something my hair would need this coming summer.

The highlight of our weekend was definitely being The highlight of our weekend was definitely being able to snuggle and bottle feed these baby lambs❤
They were only a couple days old and so incredibly sweet! Some day we hope to have our own, but for now we will get our baby animal snuggles in at my in-laws.

I wasn't going to share this photo because I hones I wasn't going to share this photo because I honestly hate the way I look. My hair is greasy and pulled back, my face puffy, my eyes with mom bags. We had run errands all day and I was ready to go home and plop down on the sofa. But my heart is full looking at this because I know this little boy won't stay little forever. And I'm sure my days of getting him to take a photo with me won't last forever, either. I really do cherish these moments more now than ever before, because I know how fast time flies.
Even if you don't feel your best, take the picture mama. You won't regret it. ❤

If I had to chose one thing we can't live without If I had to chose one thing we can't live without during our homeschool days, it would be our essential oils.
Anyone else??🙋‍♀️ 🌿
My kiddo has THE hardest time focusing on anything, even when it's just me and him in a room. He is a huge fidgeter, twirling his hair, tapping his pencil, looking at the ceiling, looking outside, wiggling his feet... this is all part of his sensory stuff I have mentioned before. It takes a lot of effort for him to get through a lesson some days, even with plenty of movement breaks and standing instead of sitting or squeezing putty while he listens.
The one thing that does seem to help a bit is our oils. I am SO happy to have found the Kid Safe line from @planttherapy . [#gifted] We use Hocus Focus in our diffuser almost every day and the Study Time roll-on blend is amazing. (I loove the way this one smells)
Liam will ask for his oils if he is struggling and I only wish there was this option for kids in the 90s. Liam would definitely be the kid the Dr recommends medicating if he grew up when I did. ☹ I remember the boys that were just like Liam in my class in elementary school. They were always in trouble because they couldn't sit still for hours at a time! Now that I have a boy that would rather climb a tree than sit and do copywork, I get it.
Do you have a wild child who doesn't want to sit still ? Have you tried essential oils? Tell me your favorite oils/blends !

If you're interested in Plant Therapy, head to the link in my bio !
